so I come home from the day job "alien slave trading" and whoa and behold I have a FedEx package waiting there for me...NICE. Its the 50 Artist sketch cards I'm doing for the upcoming Marvel Masterpieces 3 by Upper Deck. I'm so stoked to do them! I can't post any scans of them until I get the official approval from Mark Irwin , so we'll have to wait to see them here on DA. So the weekend is starting out great! I'm going to see the Dark Knight on Imax this soon, next Thursday July 24th is my Birthday and also happens to be the first day of the San Diego ComicCon...could it get any better?!?!

Words cannot describe how I feel right now. I just woke up after having one of the best nights of my life and now, one of my worst mornings... For those of you who know or have met Michael Turner, you know how genuine and positive he was...even throughout his bout with cancer he smiled and stayed focused. I'm crushed right now...I am in tears... my prayers go out to all of those who are affected by this sad news... we've lost one of the most amazing human beings ever known....

I can't believe I've been her a year already. It's been an awesome ride so far and I've seen my work improve 10 fold since I've been a member. Thank you to all of you who encourage and inspire me. I promise to keep delivering only my best work and I hope that you will all continue to enjoy it!

Ok, so we are only a few months away from the biggest and best comic convention in history! Who's going? I wanna meet up with some fellow DA Artists, Writers, Lurkers etc. Also, I was thinking about getting a table in Artists' Alley. I have yet to do so, so if anyone has any tips or is getting one themselves or wants to get one and split the costs let me know! I'm game.
